Pyrx is a rock/hip-hop band established back in 1999 from Chico, CA. In that time Pyrx has released one 19 song lp entitled "Infinite Medicine", in 2003, and one 5 song ep entitled "Like the Rhythm", in 2004. In these 5 years Pyrx has also developed quite a following in Northern California, They've traveled for many shows in California including the Bay Area, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, and as far as Utah and Colorado. Pyrx has continued a huge fan base of Chico State college students, past and present, for five years running. Pyrx has played on bills with such bands as Maroon 5, Julian Marley, Scapegoat Wax, and Michael Rose just to name a few. Pyrx is a self produced, independent group bringing the next big sound to your town.

Pyrx music to me is a free forming band with drums, bass, guitar, sax, percussion, and 2 vocalists. With a solid direction to play music for a living. We bring a sound brand new to the table. I’m tired of the same old shit!
